DIARY ENTRY # 1
Hello, curious reader! I see you’ve happened upon my diary. I don’t know if I should be elated or perturbed. But you are here nonetheless - thank you!
The Alexandrian is a way for me to explore my love of the written word. Here I can freely analyze books and the great authors who penned them, practice my own writing, foolishly pour out my heart, or even indulge in the occasional rant.
In my entries, you’ll find:
Diary entries related to my books and my writing process (utter madness)
Short stories or chapters (should I prove brave enough)
Reviews and deep dives of books I loved (or perhaps didn’t so much)
Analyses and breakdowns of fellow and famous authors’ tips and tricks
My own lessons from writing and reading
The occasional comment, praise, or dive into other media
Along with…
Me practicing my vocabulary
Fawning over language and etymology
Absolute nonsense
“Bibliophilic Buffoonery” and “Library Love”
Evidence that my mind decays or withers
Insanity
If you’re happy with that, welcome. Stay or leave at your leisure. Of course, connecting with fellow bibliophiles and readers is why I’m here. Please feel free to tell me about yourself and why you think reading a stranger’s diary is interesting! Or comment on one of my future posts. I promise to engage with kindness if you do ❤️
I’ll write as often as I can, and you’ll start receiving new posts in your inbox when I do. I hope you’ll enjoy reading my deepest and darkest thoughts! Thanks again, and please tell a few friends if you’re feeling generous.
PS…
buffoonery is entirely a real word…
